Keep it in 4WD the whole run. Dont bother taking it out while going down the track. Just need a 200-2800 stall converter and it will 60' much better

 

what was the temperature? and where is the track?

 

Something still dont seem right...
your trap speed is quite low for a turbo unless the tune is pretty conservative.

 

temp was 75* ish and the truck was cold.

tune might be but it made 377 and 410 on 6 psi. thats 110 wheel increase over stock which i think is pretty good for low boost.

The power numbers sound good, mine made 378/445 on 6# on the LQ4.

Do you have a way of monitering the IATs or anything like that?

 

Maybe a stupid question, but did your tuner remove the speed limiter? The stock limiter is 98mph. After I installed my Whipple, I ran it at the track for the first time and kept hitting 98mph traps. I looked at the tune supplied to me by Whipple and they never removed the speed limiter.

 

14s??? Your truck should be low 13s high 12s especially with 4hi. What motor is in your truck? I made over 400whp on just 5lbs no meth on a non load with my 5.3. Are the 4 speeds and 6 speeds that different in putting power down? Even before I went turbo I put down 308hp on my 5.3 with tune cutout only.

the mph is there for a low 13 just cant get it outta the hole. Watch the vid guys. i bring it up to 5 psi and let it go. it runs good just takes a while to get moving.

a trans with convertor would make it et a lot better.

I also take it out of 4WD at the top of first before the 1-2 shift

no way of monitering IAT. they should be fine with the front mount and the trucking being cold when racing

also, what rpm is it shifting at?

 

something like a 2800-3200 stall, and a lil more boost, you will be ready to rock.
