Default Messing around with the G-tech some

Got really bored last night so I took the truck out of the city to some nice quiet smooth roads and hooked up my old g-tech meter. I find it reads a 10th slower in the 0-60 and 1/4mile then my actual times, and the mph is about 2 higher then it should.

Keep in mind I am 2300ft elevation so my times are all much slower then they should be.

0-60 6.22
1/4mile 14.43@96.7mph

At sea level that would be a 5.8-5.9 0-60 and a 13.9 1/4mile.

The best part is I still had everything on the truck, tailgate, spare, sway bar, and 3/4tank of fuel, compared to all of that gone and a 1/4tank for my 14.59 run last year before the cam, lowering kit, new rims and shift kit.

Track opens in two weeks, can't wait to get some real numbers.

Well no runs for me quite so soon. Fixed my Y pipe and got 8hp 7lbs more on the dyno, but I dropped from an average of 13.0 a/f to 13.8 to 14.0 which is getting lean. I don't want to risk any damage so the truck sits waiting for a fix.

I have a IAT mod on the way, and am shopping around for 180 stat to see if that will help. If that doesn't work I'll get a wideband installed to see what it is really doing. I got a price on a 04 fuel pump and gas tank if it is indeed running lean, but they want a retarded amount of money for them from the dealer. Worse case I'll just get the pump and "make" it fit the tank. If that doesn't work, then it's possibly a fuel regulator, or 6.1L injectors, though if I need to do all that I might as well get a smt-6 and fix it properly.
