New Rams or older Rams?
94 to 02 2500's were single rear wheel and 3500's were Dual rear wheel. 3500's had more payload, but the 2500's had a couple hundred pounds more trailer capcity.

i am speaking of the 05's. the dealer here in town has some CTD 2500's but also has some CTD 3500's. the 3500's have leather and everything i want. and neither of them are dualies. i can't find much info on the differences between the 2.

Drivetrain wise they are the same. Only difference will be payload capacity. 3500's will have different springs.
