My roommate has a new Jeep Commander with the 5.7L Hemi. He's been helping me with my turbo kit and now he's interested in doing something to his truck. I think he's caught the bug What's out there for these performance wise? Any s/c or turbo kits? Tuners?

 

Well like the 06+ hemis the commander will have the MDS so going into the engine gets a little more tricky. Turbos and Superchargers can be done but tuning them is still a pain and I have no idea how the MDS factors in with the MDS. That said, you can probably get programmers for them, and the standard bolt ons will work, headers, cai, exhaust, a good torque converter would all help get that brick going.

 

His Jeep is an 06. So there are no complete turbo or s/c kits available?

 

Uh NO!.... perhaps a STS turbo but you will have to check with them on a date, as well with the GSM Superchargers....
