Default Turbo Hemi Ram

Yep- the KRC Performance Turbo Hemi Ram is up and running. Here's a little teaser video. http://www.whipevents.com/videos/turbohemiram.wmv
This was the base dyno so they can start the tuning. From what they have told me she's running strong but they are holding back dyno numbers until properly tuned. Just thought you guys may be interested. I can't wait to get her home

Sweet How about a hint. 350-400 or 400-450? (RWHP)
Edit: Hmmm, I just watched the vid. 16psi huh? Maybe I should include a 450-500 choice

Colt, don't you have a cam in there too? I thought their 11psi target was 500hp so the 16psi target is gonna be closer to 600. At 9.5psi mine put out 450hp.

What are you using for cooling at 16psi, just meth?

Looks good, who makes the kit or is it all custom?

Will a T-61 support 16psi? On a 5.7? It seems to me you would get negetive returns at that boost level ( High IAT's)

Just wondering man, dont really know anything about the Hemi's

Has the 220 cam in at 4 degrees advanced.
The 10psi target should net us 500rwhp - they are running at 16psi with meth injection on race gas. On pump gas 10psi is all it will see. After all of the internals are available we may shoot for more but for now that's it.

any plans to build that thing any further and go after parish?
mmmmmm NO!!!

KRC is planning a kit, they have been using my truck to build the prototype.

And yes the T-61 will support 16psi. Highest egt's seen on the dyno and the tuning runs was 1200.

Still in the early tuning stages so there could be any number of changes between now and when I get it back.

That's awesome Colt, congrats!
I also was worried about no IC at first but sounds like the meth is keeping everything nice and cool. If you can tune in FL it will work anywhere.
I wondered about Jim/Parish too but he has the 4wd to assist launch. No way I can see us hitting 10's on two wheels right now and still drive it to/from the track.
