Hi all.
I was reading you post,and somebody talked about a 400H.P Hemi truck.Well I did not see it yet,but my local dealer had manage to get a 6.1L Hemi in a 1500 Ram reg.cab.The customer was looking at the order sheet and somehow ordered it with a 6.1L.But about 2-3 weeks later Chrysler called the dealership and they said they built the truck.But they will not built another one.They said it was a loop hole in the orders.Somehow this guy found it and ordered one. This was done about 3 months ago.I was told this story by one of my good customers.But honesly,I haven't seen it yet.It seems 2 good to be true.But I will looked into it.And I'm a honest man.If I see it,I will do my best to get a camera and prove it.

 

Please do post the info if you do.. I will be surprised if it turns out to be true, you hear a lot of misinfo everywhere especially at the dealers...

Talk to my customer this morning,It's alive and well 2006 Ram 1500 6.1L reg. cab short box 2wd.Black in colour ,very low option truck.$33000 Canadian he paid for it.His brother owns the dealership(maybe that's why the 6.1L got in between the fenders).Were supose to meet soon.I'm bringing my camera to prove it.As you wrote,I'd be as suprise as your are if I see the sticker under the hood that's marked as a 6.1L instead of the 5.7L.One way to find out.I'll let you know either way.

 

Dam that's all of 2K more then I paid for my 5.7 hemi canadian. If it's a canadian loop hole, I wonder if I could order one.
