Ive got a buddy with a 03 hemi... just bolt ons as of now. He is looking into doing a cam swap. Wanted a little more info on what is a good nice streetable cam for him. Also what are you guys using for tunning? i see alot of guys talking about SCT? He has a superchips as of right now.

Any help and info is appreciated!

 

Well The 03's are the bastard childs of the hemis so his options are limited. As far as tuning all he has is diablo for custom tuning if you want to call it that. Since the tuning sucks for the 03's all ya can run are lil tq cams such as a comp 260 or a small custom grind cam that will play nice. The comp 260 will just be a lowend cam but it & a few custom grinds are all the 03 can handle

SCT won't work on 03's, any custom tuning has to DSP or SMT6 (something along those lines). The 260 and I believe the sidewinder will work with a superchips canned tune. There is a massive thread about this over at DT.
