Info on 4.7HO, few ??????
Just picked up a 02 Jeep GC Overlander with the 4.7HO for my wife. I was wondering if any of you guys had some info, or some reading on this motor? 2 bolt block, 4 bolt, 6 bolt???? Material of the Crank, Rods, Pistons? Cam specs? Valve sizes? etc........I picked up a good reading for my GenIII 5.3 Silverado, just would like to read up on the 4.7, thanks!

The crank is forged I know that.... it's a pretty nice lil motor.
I have the regular 4.7L with the 4.7L H.O. cams in it, and it really made the regular motor scream.
Your best bet would be getting on some dakota sites.... we've pretty much done anything you can think of to these motors.... and by doing a simple search for 4.7L, you'll bring up almost anything you would want.

there is a guy named Ruben Gathright or something like that,... and he has a personal site with a bunch of collected information about the 4.7L,... that might help you.
