Does it have the stock 2 1/4" outlets?

 

Yes. This is a direct-fit replacement for trucks that were fitted with factory dual tailpipes. The factory muffler is band-clamped in place and this muffler assembly icludes the necessary inlet pipe and hangers to fit directly in place of the original muffler without cutting or welding.

 

Seems like a good design, however I wish someone would make a true dual 2 1/2" exhaust system for these Rams, as I believe these Hemi's need more exhaust flow. I'm running a true dual 2 1/2" system on my Hemi powered Dakota and it laid down 315rwhp, with a stock 2006 5.7 Hemi and normally Hemi powered Rams only lay down about 245rwhp.

 

I can see where you're coming from. We developed this kit as a lower cost option to a full Cat-back system, with many of the same benefits.

 

Those are good numbers, the Eagle Hemi has a lot more power than the earlier version, such as mine.

 

So basically it's a Si/DO 10 series muffler...

 

No. This is actually an application specific, specially-designed version of our Outlaw Series straight-through mufflers. The internal configuration is similar to our Outlaw muffler design, but inside of a rectangular case.
