Default Cold air intakes

I just bought a 2007 dodge ram QC with a hemi it has a lifetime drivetrain warranty. Will a cold air intake void my warranty?

not if you put the stock one back on before you take it to a dealer...

Yeah I thought of that but I know mopar makes one and I didn't know if the mopar one would void it.

i guess you could either look at your warranty in the fine print, or (what i would probably do) call the dealer anonamously and ask about it

what did they say about the cat back?

if mopar perf. offers a cold air, i would presume it wouldn't void the warranty, theirs wouldn't anyway

Mopar parts are the ONLY parts you can modify your Dodge with that WON'T void your warrenty.

I can do a cat back as long as it doesn't set a check engine code. You can't go in front of the cats either. They also told me that if i lift or lower the truck it will void the warranty due to the drivetrain angles

I don't want to try to see what I can get away with the truck has a lifetime powertrain warranty and I don't want to mess that up.
