Well... don't know about the 4.7 hat but if it is like the 5.7 hat ...LOSE it!! your engine will like it! But get some imput from the 4.7 guys cause I really have no experience with them...

On the Hemi engine, some say that replacing the Hemi Hat with a straight tube is worth 6-8 hp. I've had an Airaid MIT and have swapped it back and forth with the Hemi Hat. I really couldn't "feel" any difference but I don't think you would feel 6-8 hp. The stock systems from Dodge are pretty good! There was an article on DTW's main page where they installed an AEM Brute Force intake and a complete Flowmaster cat-back exhaust using a 50 series muffler. The intake was good for 6-7 hp and the exhaust was only good for 2-3 hp. Even the article said the stock stuff is pretty good. I know 10 hp is 10 hp more than you had, just don't expect big gains from any intake or exhaust system.

IMO stay away from the flowmasters. I had one on mine for less than 500 miles. Hated the sound and it didn't do anything for the trucks performance.

I used the stock intake, then a 360 Air Intakez Power Shot and finally a AFE Cold Air up until I lost them all with the new build. IMO the AFE out performed the others. The hemi hat is good, but in inspecting mine it could use some "smoothing" inside for a better uninterrupted flow. The 360 intake added noticeable power over the stock intake but the AFE, I guess drawing air from further away from the motor, along with the ease of making it a track intake from the location, makes for the best power out of those 3 IMO. I cannot say about others nor can I give you actual dyno numbers.
