Default 318 to 360

ok well i dont know that much about dodges but my brother blow his motor up in his 2000 half-ton 4x4... it has a 318 in it but wanted to upgrade a lil.... and my buddy has a fliped truck with a 360 in but it is a 2002 the newer body style just wanted to make sure it would work.... thanks for any help

yeah itll work but i would keep the 318..the 360s r dogs.....

the 2002 5.9 msgnum motors have different mount bosses, basically a 1 year only motor. triple check the mount locations to make sure it will work in your older ram. I don't know about the magnum 5.9's bein dogs, but a good 5.2 will run forever and there is hardly any noticeable difference between the two engines from the butt-o-meter.

the 318 is internally balence and the 360 is external, you would need new computer and some other stuff
