oh, yours is really new... I think they start doing better after 750 or 1000 miles of breaking-in, at least that is what the dealer said

You're not supposed to break it in revving it out to redline, are you? It's just so much fun!

lol I think your supposed to take it to your local track and hot lap it a bunch of times to do the proper break in... that's what the manual says

My '03 isn't stock by far. However, I drove to PA (from NC) 1 1/2 weeks ago for the Mopar show. I had 3 adults in the cab, a Cuda hood and front/rear bumper assemblies in the bed, and luggage for us for 4 days and 3 nights. With 4.56 gears I got 20 mpg. Driving back and forth to work, 8 miles one way, I'm in the 14.x range.

I drive a mix of interstate and city(50/50 or so) and Ive put 26,xxx miles in a year on my '06 4 door 2wd and by the overhead it says 14mpg average if I dont reset it but by the math its 13mpg. I check it every other tank fill up.

in order for MDS to work properly and get the proposed gas mileage, you MUST run 5w-20(outcome of other oils is poor gasmilege for about 500 miles, followed by a blown motor) and be under 70mph.
my 03 with intake and tuner got 11-13 city, 15-7 highway, cruising at 80-85mph.
