well today i went to the part store right trying to find an fitting im need that noone has at all...anyways he tells me the carb that i have wont work with a return line its the carb with the barb in the front not the duel fitting like on double pumpers...can some tell what i need to do,or is the dude wrong? cuz im at the point to where im bout to just burn the damn truck to the ground n say da hell with it
i have so much work done to it...i have no help sides on here...i put the motor in by myself ,and i weight like buck 20 if that! some opinion plz

Also, the carb has nothin to do with the return line, you need a return style regulator. you could come off the regulator and feed one single line into the front of the carb you have and use the return from the regulator to send excess fuel back!

Yeah, I think we need some pictures of what your describing. Sounds like you have an edelbrock or old carter carb, but hard to tell. Take some pictures and explain what your trying to do, then maybe we can help.

IF you have a return regulator, get a pressure guage to run inline after the regulator, hook the return line up off the regulator.
It I have done it before, works out well. This is how it looked on the truck I removed it from before the gauge broke. As you can see, the gauge is in line to the carb.

What it looked like on the truck, no pictures of the gauge on it. It looks backwards, since it wasn't mounted it wouldn't stay flipped around the correct way.
