here's a '59 I found online. Thinking it's a '59.

http://www.oldchevytruck.com/chevytrucksforsale/

Checkout this '57 on there.

Man, I am in love. $11,500

you should hear my dad. He was standing here with me when I was like, "I found a 59 with dual headlights." He's like, "No, that's not right I had a ******* 58 and it didn't have dual headlights." LOL "I don't know old trucks, but what do you want me to say dad...here's a pic." LMAO

Ok, now i'm confused. So was the 57 the last year for the dual headlights or was 59 the first year for duals?

I believe 58 was first year on duals against what Dewmanshu's dad suggests. And those are 58 emblems not 59.

47-53 have very minor differences such as the loss of the left-side cowl vent, moving of the gas tank, push button door handles.

54 and early 55 had a different grill and a 1 piece windshield

late 55 was the introduction odf the body style you are looking at with a single headlight.

58 was the first dual headlight and first year of a fleetside

60 was all together different. Looks similar to mine.

Here is a good write up.. http://www.chevytrucks.org/resources...evy_trucks.htm
