Default questions!!

Alright so as some of you may know I just acquired a 68 C-10. Of course Im missing my 00 like crazy but I plan on putting the 6.0 in it

my questions, first about my truck as it stands:
it wanders a little bit, and when braking it pulls slightly to the right. I chalk the braking up to (obviously the brakes duh) but what do I do to fix that? also the LR brake cylinder is leaking

Another Q about how it stands is my speedo is ridiculously inaccurate, not too concerned, it just wavers. Also a lot of my gauges plain dont work. I wanted to really do like a whole Autometer set-up, speedo, tach, etc. Is there anything major necessary to transfer to those gauges?

Now about future plans:
For the 6.0 swap, would it be possible to pull the harness out of the 00 and run it (more or less) directly? basically that I can wire up pretty much everything in the 68 how it was in the 00, I.E. speedo, tach, etc.?

Another is what MAJOR mods have to be done? is there any fabbing up necessary? also would it be possible to run hydro boost and/or convert the brakes to the 00 system? I guess basically I want the 68 to feel like my 00 as far as the power plant, braking, handling, and little things like the gauges all working correctly with the motor.
I know its a lot to ask and random stuff, just stuff thats on my mind

Is it still 6 lug or has it been converted to 5. If not that would be one of the first things I would do. AirRide makes a really nice set up for these trucks as well. Changing out all the bushings would also help out on the ride. As far as the brakes go fixing the leaking brake cylinder and bleeding them well help out on it pulling. I think that you should go with Autometer gauges. Thats what I want to put in my truck cuz they look bad *** and work really good too. On the speedo it might have missing teeth on the gears or it could just need to be calibrated being that it now was a 4 speed instead of the 3 speed. I think that you can get this truck to out handle the 00 you have plus with the ladder bar style arms on the rear should help you to hook up better as well.

good ideas guys, thanks for all the info Aaron. There is a lot of work to do but its not hugely major stuff. I guess my only real complaint now is the lack of power haha
