Simply tell Jesse at Wait4Me that you need the computer your getting flashed as a stand-alone installation, and your good to go. There will only be a few wires to hook up then. Many from your original 5.3 harness that you simply will not be hooking up to anything. You can simply cut them off, which I would wait till everything else is hooked up & running smoothly, before I did. Or, you can just tape them up into the harness. I like using the proper colored wire for the proper use, so I kept all the different colored wires & end connectors that I cut off, just in case I needed them in the future. Its all pretty straight forward, goes slow, just a test of your patience. Once you get to hear it fire up & sit there & idle nice, you will get your second wind of enthusiasm, lol. Good luck!
