Default New style plastic tank in 84 C/10???

Anyone ever seen this done??

i want to be able to use new style in tank pumps. Just wondering if anyone has switched to a larger opening on the top tank. Larger than 87 TBI tanks...

Thanks.....

any particular reason. If you run a 96 vortec 350 fuel pump that's all the fuel you'll ever need unless you are going FI or have to have the tank pressure sensor for emissions reasons.

Yes I am doing a swap to a 5.3...and I wanted a in tank pump. I am probably just going to use a 87 FI tank, has bigger hole for the pump.

Its been awhile since ive worked on one of those trucks, but it shouldnt be hard at all to make a bracket for the tank straps if thats what you have to do to make it fit?
