Did you order a trans adapter to use your existing 4L60E?

I used a ls1 cam and flat top pistons when I built a new engine for my 03 Burb, later switched to a Z06 cam. The combination of flat top pistons and the cam make a very nice upgrade.

I think you'll like that 5.3 alot better than the old 5.7.
