Ls 1 into a 1995 rcsb Chevy Silverado
#1
I am the proud owner of a 1995 Chevy Silverado
. It was given to me by my father as a birthday gift a few years ago
. Well a few years ago i didn't know squat about vehicles. Well, now i know enough to be able to work things out and actually know a lot more than i used to
. I have come to the conclusion that i own a giant piece of metal that has a close place in my heart
. But that will change. It is a 1995 Chevy Silverado 2 wheel drive single cab short bed with a 350 and an automatic (i think 4l60e??? i may be wrong) transmission. Im wanting to do an ls 1 swap and a t56 6-speed transmission
. I know i need a wiring harness and mounts but what else do i need? I plan on getting a donor car so i can get the computer and everything else that comes with it. But what all do i need to get to make this happen? I also want to keep the factory gauges working and the heating/ac system. Thanks for all the help.

4L60E.
If you want to keep the original LS1 a/c compressor then youll have to notch the passenger side frame. Or you can relocate it to the top of the motor with a relocation bracket and retain your silverado compressor.
