nope its a 2500rpm stall w/o lockup.....my trans builder prefers not to use them. Its a 200-4r working as just a straight 4sp overdrive.

I'm building an early 80s twin turbo truck and of coarse ill be fuel injected. Carb is a lot more simpler, but if its going to be more of a dd truck i do fuel injection.

txoldschool were did you get those upper control arms?

Not surprising. Some folks hate what they don't understand.

Be thankful you have the knowledge to use EFI or a carb at your discretion.

Your first pay off will come when you turn the key to start your truck the first time and it will run great right out of the box with very little (if any) adjustment needed.

Well I see I'm only 3 weeks off. But wanted to put my .02 in................. I'm with ya TXoldskool. I like my carb and can set timing for DD and the strip and at a flip of a switch it will set the timing for my NOS . Don't give a flip about MPG. And before my gray hair, it was of a slight red tint and lots of freckles. But I'm no ones step child. LOL.

Don't be afraid of the carb just because there isn't much love for them on this site. If you are ever going to do forced induction then you pretty much have to do EFI, but other than that I like the carb.

Carbs work with forced induction also.

Yeah that's why I said pretty much. Don't get me wrong, I would love to see a dual quad littlefield setup on an LSX, but 99% of people run EFI. I have never seen a carb'd turbo on an LSX, but that would be neat too. You don't have to, but I would run the carb before the turbo pressure side.
