a few Questions for a newbie
#1
got a few engine swap questions for all the experts here...ive got a 1982 GMC Sierra i scored last year for nearly nothing...it had the stock 305 that would barely pull itself around...so me and my dad dropped a ol 350 in it at the beginning of the year..its a pretty mild motor...just a big cam..202 heads...air gap intake...and a new 650 carb...also added a 2200 stall...but i want alittle more drivablity out of it since it really aint that fast and sucks way to much gas to be that slow so a LS motor seems to be the way to go...i have a 4.8/4l60 thats in my show truck...an 03 sierra ive bodydropped on 26s...i wanna put a blown big block in my 03 just for the wow factor and the fact ive not seem a big block in newer truck...i know its a step back in technology(been hearing that since the beginning) but if you seen a blower stickin out the hood of an 03 you have to admit you would come over and look at it...the 4.8 currently has shorty headers and a 3600 stall and some more various bolt ons...(it was supercharged but i sold it off awhile back)...will definently put a cam in it before it goes in the 82...ok now for the questions...where can i get motor mounts..headers that will work...what do i need to do with the tranny crossmemeber..and where is the best place to get a wiring harness..what about the driveshaft...any other major things i need? thanks in advance

Funny.... that's about the same thing that I was wondering... You can get a wiring harness from www.painlessperformance.com
