Default electric vacuum pump/camshaft/tbi

Okay, I'm wanting to run a decent aftermarket cam. Majority of the cams I've chosen have a slightly lower lsa (110ish) I've been told that I won't have enough vacuum with those cams to keep my truck idling with my TBI. Now this is a complete performance TBI build, including custom chip. My question is, could I run an electric vacuum pump in addition to the cam to cure the idle problem? Can anyone shed light??

Thanks for any and all advice!
