yes im wiring the truck wiring into the 5.3 fusebox. there shouldnt be a whole lot of wires to run. ive been gathering parts for this swap for quite a while. plus ive done this kind of swap before to my 79c10. but that truck was way more complicated! heres a coulpe of pics of it....

blklime02, i looked at the headers and there is no tag or # on them. i would look up other headers (like hooker or hedman) and see if my year an your year are compatable

here, i just finished putting the headers on.

here, i fitted up the filter and inline walbro 255.

i just finished installing the intake.

here is how i handled the powersteering lines.

i am using a lokar 36" throttle cable.

and this is where i am at currently. plenty of wires to connect still!
the headers look like they fit good. can you take a picture of how close the header collectors are next to the frame rails underneath? you mentioned you had to trim the header flange, i would like to see how much. to get an idea. if they fit pretty well ill order them thank in advanced

here, for trans cooler lines i used lines from napa that dont require a tubing bender! too easy.

i am using a shifter linkage coversion kit from lokar because the stock shifter linkage hits the top of my header.

this is for guys keeping the old th350&400. its give the vss a signal. without it your pcm would never get out of its idle tables. this sensor tells the pcm the truck is moving! it also allows me to retain the stock speedometer cable.
