Default 96 Silvy, where to start?

Hey guys. Thanks for the help with my last post. Y'all were right, and after a bit of trial and error, I got my timing set right. Much appreciated. So far, my truck is completely stock, which needs to change. When my 510 inch Oldsmobile is ready to bolt into my lowrider, the truck will get a new box and paint job. It may also get a set of Land Rover Discovery headlights. Has anyone ever seen that done? However, the important stuff is in the performance. I wouldn't mind spending some money in the good places to make it a better truck. What's a good exhaust system that helps hp and mpg without sounding like a hillbilly? Has anyone had good results with a Gear Vendors? Lemme know guys. Thanks again.

Hillbilly? Ha, well I always like Borla, but if you don't want to spend to much, I would go with Magnaflows or Flowmasters

^^agreed. I run 3" flowmasters with a custom built 3" mandrel bent system off of 2" primary headers & a 3" magnaflow X pipe. It don't sound hillbilly at all.
