my buddy popped his 94 tbi motor and im tellin him to put a 6.0 in it. can anyone that has done this give me a parts list or let me know what you did for wiring? he wants to tow a bit so he will pry go with a 80e.

 

I've been doing some research on same swap but in a 95. Search around a bit here, and LS1tech. There is some info.

 

There's a write up on ls1tech.com but its to put an LS1 in a 92-94 I can't remember. Its straight forward. If you buy a nelson harness for 650 I believe and a tuned computer for 200 more itd be just 4 wires I believe to hook up to your old harness. If your going to tow go with the 80E and a 14bolt it'd be worth it I'd think. Get a newer 6.0 with an 80E and do a mild cam and shift kit that way it'll be a little better than a stock motor and tranny.
