Default 92 c1500 sputtering problem. Please help!!

ok just put in a new fuel pump and fuel filter on my 92 c1500 with the 5.7 engine. If i floor it from a dead stop it will almost shut off at about 3 grand but then is will pick up again but then do it again at about 4.5. What could this be???? Thanks for all your help.. And there is no check engine lights on.

run some sort of fuel treatment through it such as sea foam to begin with. also check your cap and rotor, there's a fair chance they are pretty fouled up. pull a spark plug or two while you're at it. your problem would likely be solved with a full tune up.

ok im going to try that and we are also gonna try to do a fuel pressure test while driving it. Think maybe my new fuel pump is slaking at high rpm?

Check for excessive up and down play in the dizzy shaft. Also the computers will lose ground and act up. You can pull the glove box and make a quick ground to the computer box to check that. Did you relace the rubber hose on the pump when you replaced it? They are known to split or swell and let fuel not pass through it.
