What do you guys think about my project?

I have a 5.3 in the pics just for mock up on the headers, wiring, intake and fuel lines. I had a stock stroke LQ9 in it until a few weeks ago and sold it to a friend. The 408 is coming out of Whiteville NC. I'll be trailering the truck up there Saturday morning, installing it and i should be able to make it to Fayettville dragstrip by noon on Sunday.

 

Bring plenty of Natural light.....you know how thirsty the boys get

Well, i sure hope so, i'll be sure and post the time slip and video if everything works out this weekend. I'm on it right now getting the wiring completed. The truck has actually went faster than a 12.20 with the 6.0 on motor (never ran the gas) but it didn't do it consistantly. I'll have the front clip on it tonight.

 

I'll bring plenty of "liquid courage"........ Looking forward to some 7.10 1/8's through the mufflers.
