Yeah and there's a lot of 250 inline sixes around that are even cheaper than a 350. either way sounds like a pretty sweet rig.

if you wanted to have a 350 that looked stock you would need to start with late 70's or older block for the oil dip stick to be on the right side. also up till 67 they used front motor mounts with a mid mount (on the bellhousing ) so the side mounts didnt exist, plus casting numbers on the side of the block and on deck surface . the heads should have no acc. bolt holes front and back and intake withoil breather tube up front. there is a company that makes oil bath air cleaner replicas that you can put a regular filter in. any ?'s pm me
