Got the engine and trans in, need to know how to connect the stock shifter linkage to the 4l60e, or if I need to order something aftermarket...used to be a 305/700R4....also what oem throttle cable works with this swap, if any? I've heard 96-98 Silverado cables will work.

 

take the shift linkage off the 700R4 (although it should be a 4L60E for a 1993 pickup)and install it on the newer trans, i had to adjust mine a little bit but it was pretty close.

96-98 vortec throttle cable works great.

 

Got the old shift linkage in. It doesn't want to work at all. It acts like it's in a bind no matter how I adjust it. How did you adjust yours to make it work?
