Default Oklahoma gtg August 25

We still need to decide exactly what we are doing where. I'm still all for going to a lake hanging out drinking some beer and grilling some food. I have a hard time making suggestions since I'm not a native of Oklahoma.

It looks like lake Carl Blackwell is the most central decent sized lake, but from looking at the website there appears to be a lot of fees and rules??? I'm not sure if that will be a problem or not for us.

I think we should get something nailed down by next weekend so we can plan accordingly if necessary. So throw your comments and ideas up here!

Well Oklahoma City is pretty central in the state. There is Bricktown and what not there. There are lots of lakes. Do you want to go to a state park?? There is the Little Sierra Desert. In Medicine Park there is a wildlife refuge along with the Witchita Mountains. There is tons of stuff to do. You got to figure out what you want to do, then us natives can tell you where it is at.

Well I'm game for about anything. I'm just trying to help get this thing organized, so keep on posting up some ideas.

Last time we met in Bricktown had some lunch, goofed of and watched all the crazy street racing in OKC. It was a good time and no one broke anything serious or went to jail...

Anything further than OKC and i'll have to sit this one out fellas. That is assuming I don't have work, or school, or baseball practice, or a date with the gf.

So have we figured out a where in the when and where situation??? And from the looks of it, we may have to find another when. I am good pretty much whenever as long as it is on a weekend.

I don't think it's gonna happen at this time. We never really got much response and didn't really get anything planned out.
