Getting close. It idles decent. It surges a little coming to a stop when its cold, that goes away when it's warmed up. I spent several hours remaping the VE table on Sunday, then I ended up putting it back into closed loop because I can't seem to get the idle AFR to be consistent in OLSD. PE was working in OLSD, but does not seem to be working in closed loop.

I went ahead and changed the oil last night. Did you see my thread on what I pulled out of the oil pan...

It runs good! I haven't really tried to make a good run from a dead stop, but putting the peddle on the floor from a roll, getting onto an onramp or two I can tell that traction is going to start being a problem now... at least on the street in 2wd.

My ls6 springs came in today from Lingenfelter. So all i'm waiting on now is for FLT to stay caught up. They got pretty busy with that special so it'll probably be another week or so.

Let me know what day you're planning on doing all of this stuff. If I can get caught up on schoolwork and don't have any tests or reports then I can lend an extra pair of hands.

will do. i'd appreciate any help i can get. I"ve been having extremely bad back pains lately so i'm starting to have 2nd thoughts on helping with the trans swap.
Doc gave me a 50 bottle of propoxyphene so i'm hoping that helps some.
Did an MRI yesterday and waiting to see the results from that.

TTT

Chuck said to call him on tuesday so hopefully we can get mine done this weekend. I've got a car rented thru monday.

hasn't been a good run so far. Trans went out. SSI is with-holding my income tax over something stupid that i already sorted out back in '06 and again january of '07. And my back has been hurting to the point i start to throw up.
Things can only get better

It's a good thing i work for a car rental company. Saves a lot of money.
