Thanks guys I guess I'm kind of the food police now! As some of you may or may not know I do love to cook outside of working on transmissions. It has been a hobby of mine for many years and there is not a weekend that goes by where I don't have some thing cooking. I enjoy using my smoker and my grills whenever possible. For those of you that don't know me as close as others. I suffer from OCD which translates to foodies like myself to "outdoor cooking disease". I'm addicted! I look forward to participating in this section and seeing what others are doing. Thanks again. Vince

What gear would you need to be in to sear a steak?

Normally I would use high heat to sear a steak. So low gear burning the tires would work best to get the heat up.
