Make sure you're good and hungry though to make it worth it
Haven't ate all day.

What should I get? I usually get large burgers when I get them. Should I try a regular burger first or go animal style first? What is a 2x2 or 4x4? I'll have to look at the menu real quick.

Look up secret menu for in-n-out online and see if anything sounds good

a double double is a burger with 2 meat 2 cheese, 4x4 is 4 meat 4 cheese

I recommended getting a regular burger and animal fries... I like it better that way

If you're hungry, get a 4x4, animal fries and a shake. You'll be full an content with your food

It tasted like any other fast food burger. I didn't like the cheese they use (it was too overpowering), and the meat was very salty/greasy. The burger didn't have a good balance of flavor, maybe it was because I got the 4x4, idk.

The line was maybe 5 minutes, but the drive there was close to an hour each way. It tasted like a Sonic burger.

Don't even get me started on the nasty animal style fries. The fries were dry, the cheese dried up fast, the sauce/spread was ok, and the onions were pretty nasty. Everything basically tasted the same, greasy. For the $9 I paid, I felt like I got screwed.

The burger was decent at best. Not at all worth the drive and wait time that some people do, IMO. If it was a place down the street with no line, I'd probably eat there again, but there are plenty of better burger places in the DFW area. If you've ever ate at Five Guys, Kincaids, Fuddruckers, etc. don't waste your time on In and Out, unless you just want to eat it to say you've been there.

For the guys out west who swear by this place, you must not have any better alternatives. Or you're just caught up in the hype because it's exclusive to your region (similar to whataburger claims).

Dairy Queen burgers are fuggin legit!!
Fast food burgers are never as good as sit down places. Kincaids, Fudds, and 5 guys aren't bad.
