Default Beer can chicken.

Grilled Beer Can Chicken Recipe by the BBQ Pit Boys
Did two chickens like this today, probably some of the best chicken I've ever had. Had some oak pieces with the charcoal and added a splash of dos equis to the sauce.

Beer Can Chicken, Myth or Fact? -- Naked Whiz Ceramic Charcoal Cooking

Drink it rather than violating the bird with it! Check out some easy brine recipes and try that instead, maybe with a simple rub before going onto the fire!

I left about half an ounce in each can I read a huffington post article before doing it yesterday saying the beer doesn't do anything. And it was all there after. Keeping the birds vertical helps cook it nicely though. The soy sauce/garlic butter basting and Italian dressing marinade before tasted good though. Tex joy goes on everything in my house for seasoning.

Might try the jalapeņo. It tasted great, but spice is always good. I put onions and garlic in the **** though.
