What happens if you eat red meat? I'd probably die if they took away my red meat. It is probably close to 90% of my diet.

I suck. I like prime rib cut into slices and grilled as steaks but if you just put the block of prime rib down I just can't get behind it as much lol

Gout goes nuts and I can’t walk without pain in my feet and knees. It’s a curse for sure.

I had a bad string of gout and planters fasciitis this year. the doctor told me it was likely the red meat after I told him my diet. It ended up being shell fish in my case. I can still have shrimp/crawfish/crab etc but in moderation. We did an all inclusive trip to Mexico so I overdid it on shrimp cocktails and bloody mary. apparently too much tomato will trigger gout too. I literally landed in Houston and had to be rolled out of the airport in a wheel chair. it's now a life hack to get to the front of the customs line when returning international. Gout is zero fun...

I’ve had my share of major flares and I just don’t eat what triggers it now. If it wasn’t for black cherries I’d be screwed, modern medicine still hasn’t discovered anything better yet.

We made some pork tamales yesterday with my Mom, so I decided to eat fish today to feel better.

Bought these 3 GIANT catfish fillets and 3 sea bass fillets. I pan fried them on my grill's side burner. And grilled some Anaheim peppers while I was there.

I did jog like 2.5 miles earlier today, so not bad I guess...🤔🤷

Got a new toy today. Hopefully get it assembled and ready to cook some beef ribs tomorrow for dinner.

I was eyeballing that one about 2 years ago. Let us know how it cooks. I like the taste of food off of charcoal but my wife disagrees. I compromised and got what she likes LOL.

So far so good. It’s quieter than my pit boss. Holding temp quite well and meat is steadily climbing in temp. Few more hours and we’ll find out. 7lbs of Dino ribs. Should be ready around 6ish.
