Well, the sun came out and wife and kids wanted burgers and hot dogs. Birthday party for one of the little ones and the Compadres are coming over:

Damn that bacon log looks interesting to say the least lol

 

That’s a small one. Only a pound of bacon and a pound of sausage. The big one I make is 2lbs of bacon, 2lbs of sausage, cream cheese, jalapeños, bbq sauce, and bbq rub.

 

That’s the same one I do, but use JD hot sausage.

 

Does this count? Made them in grill's side burner because my wife doesn't like all of the smoke inside the house.

We are banned from smoking with my girl’s family because her parents don’t like how it tastes and her brother only just started so he doesn’t have it down yet lol

That’s what I say. Her brother and I tried to smoke some ribs for new year’s but 1. We got too drunk and forgot them and 2. Nobody was interested because they “don’t like the flavor”
WTF

I am no chef or grill master though so I guess I can’t complain too much

I remember the first few times I made grilled chicken. My MIL was having dinner with us. The chicken was undercooked. Doh! 🤦‍♂️...had to consult with my youngest brother and my Dad on how to correct that.
