the knock sensors thread into the block. back it out with a socket and the valley cover should come off easily.

oh if only it was out... i'd probably go way overboard with it but i digress. no the stupid valley pan gromits were holding the thing down with the half a back sensor in there, just tore the back gromit to shreds, and none got into the cam passage!
so, now im at another impass... the plugs, the otherone was so damn rusted that it has a peice way up in the tiny female end of it causing it to not go onto the new sensor,

yea see the top of the knock sensor came off when i did that... thats why i was having said dilemma...

Wow,, ive changed some nasty Knock sensors.. but none have come apart yet.

damn...my knock sensors were super rusty and nasty up top but they came out like they were new. guess i was lucky

yea this things going in the case along with that skirtless piston from i think an old amc straight 6 and my mountains of dirtbike destroyed parts, the case of course is labeled F*#$ ups!
