Default Programmers and tuners systems questions

I have an edge juice programmer with attitude controller on my truck and I know some of you guys on here run efi live and other tuning stuff or other programmers. The question I want to ask is with whatever you are running on your truck does it defuel your motor when it shifts? My 05 duramax shifts like someone is granny shifting a 5 speed trans when its on level 5 and I would like to know if there is something out there that will send the power thru the shifts. Let me know guys.

Some programmers let you disable the defuel. With EFI live you can pretty much change anything you want.

The reason they defuel through the shifts is so its less likely to harm the rest of your drivetrain. If you don't want it to defuel you better have a good transmission upgrade in the trans then you'll be able to make harder shifts

In the menu for my edge I chose for it to not defuel and it still defuels on shifts. If my trans goes oh well I just want my truck to put the power to the ground. I'm also afraid that the more power I make the more it is going to defuel and the truck will look like an epileptic monkey driving a 5 speed stick truck when its an automatic
