you got it! it was a UP hi-rail truck... the truck was modified to carry the tack wheels and the wheels/tires were set in to run down the track. This truck spent its life runing down the track at 30-45mph all its life lol.

ya lol they make me wanna
ive only had the pickup for a week... and have been searching ever since to find wheels/tires.
Im so confused on what back spacing, offset, and width to get... i pretty set on 17" wheels just unsure on the rest of it.
as for tires i obviously wanna go as big as i can without rubbing issues.... the current tires rub on the swaybar a little when turning really sharp (as you can imagine since they sit in so far lol)

for a 17 go with something like a 295/70/17 or 305/70/17. Heres a good website to check tires sizes.

its an HD, it has a bigger leaf pack and the frame is 2" taller than a regular 1500/2500... so basically if you want to get technical it has a 2" "body lift" becuase the body mounts are higher up on the frame. you will not be able to clear 35's... 33's will clear if your wheels dont have alot of offset.
