I want to do a comp 270 cam swap in my 04 8.1. gonna have a valve job done along with some mild port/ polish work and headers/ tune. I just need some assistance with hardware. I wanna change rockers, springs, studs and whatever else I need to to avoid durability issues. Ive done multiple searches and just come away scratchin my head as ive seen and heard so many different combo's

also, anyone have an estimate on HP/TQ numbers with this combo on a 93 octane tune?

 

Little over a 1000 bucks you can get a cnc port job done on heads. I did a zz502 camshaft bigger exhaust valves thinner valve stems.

With a tune and manual trans I made 430 to the wheels.

I would recommend the marine injectors and a bigger tb and maf as well. The choking point on my setup.

If you want to modify studs etc just have the drilled for regular bbc studs instead of fighting with conversion studs etc
