The "quad cab" is actually the extended cab as far as dimensions go. The mega cab is the only true crew cab size-wise.

The Gen 3 Rams with either the 4.7L or the 5.7L engine do not come in an extended cab, the come in a Regular Cab or a four door Quad Cab. The back seat in my Ram is bigger than the back seat in my last truck, an 00 Ext Cab Silverado. The Rams Quad Cab back seat is smaller than a full size Crew Cab like a Ford Super Crew, Titan and GM trucks though.

Dodge calls it a quadcab and doesn't list any extended cab between that and rc models, probably because the doors open conventially. The newest vesion, "Megacab" is the largest cab available in small trucks and is way bigger than any other version crewcab.

To my knowledge, Dodge has never made a Hemi extended cab truck at all. What I know for sure is they have never made a NBS Ram in extended cab, no doubt in my mind.
