Default Have a Tech Question....

Alright guys, I bought a new tow vehicle today. It's an 02 Duramax. Truck runs good, get's about 21-22mpg, it's also bone stock. But I have a slight shake when I come to a stop. It only does it when you have it in drive, if you put it in park it smooths out, and idles nice a smooth like it's supposed too. But as soon as you put it back in drive it starts shaking a little bit, and if you give it some gas to begin to drive, it smooths out again. It's kind of comparable to a gas engine flooding, or maybe needing a tune up, that's the only thing I can really compare it to. Looking for some suggestions....

Thanks guys,
Austin

Possible an injector? They had an issue with the lb7 motors and those injectors are warranted to 200k miles, might check with your dealer.

It isn't something that expires is it? That would be my luck!
"Oh, yes, they were covered, but that just expired. So sorry!"

How far out of warranty are you??? We have to replace all 8 injectors under a special bulletin, if they haven't been replaced before just tell them you have an extended crank condition or if you have fuel in the crankcase they can fit under the policy/bulletin.
