2006 2500hd reg cab long box 2wd.

6.0 engine 156k miles on it.

Guy wants 2k for it. no rust looks to be in good shape.

I want to put a 3200 stall, cam lower it, and run sticky tires and go hit the track ideally I wanted 4x4 but for 2k and the condition the truck is in hard to pass up.

Any thoughts? Things I should watch out for? He says the powersteering oil gets hot and it tends to stop working? new powersteering pump I assume.

I assume for traction I will need a LSD and traction bars.

 

Engine and trans are worth about that or more so good find! Especially a 2006 year model.
