Default EGT question

New to any kind of online forum but I hope I'm doing this right. I have an 07 lbz with efi live tune and fuel monitoring system it is 4" straight piped turbo back. My pyrometer shows that I'm running about 1000 highway speed and if I get on it it is nothing to hit 12-1400, normal or something going wrong? I've owned the truck for about 2.5 weeks runs strong and no weird noises. It cools down pretty fast after I take my foot out of it. When I'm on it I'm running 20-25 pounds of boost

Your EGT's are fine. You just don't want to get and stay above 1200-1250* for an extended period of time, like towing or something. A WOT blast to 1400* is fine, my LBZ hits 28-30psi and a little over 1500* in a 1/4 blast. Its a about a 425rwhp efilive tune.

That's kinda what I was expecting my brothers chip kicks out at 1200 that's what had us worried about it. Thanks
