Hey guys, a buddy has a 07 lbz cc dually 4x4 and wants to get a efi live or ppe handheld. He had a superchips cortex but it got stolen yesterday the truck ran a 14.8 with it and it added 90 hp. The truck is has intake, and exhaust everything else is stock. Which would you duramax guys choose ppe xcellerator or efi live?

With PPE all you get is canned tunes. With EFILive, you can make what ever you want, 5hp to 500hp, .

yea I would go efi live so the stealing probs sdont happen throw a 9o hp tune if it a stock allison 5spd. And be done with it. Look up www.mydieseladdiction.com talk to dustin. He knows his stuff he was in the dpc this yr

Go EFI, there are alot of guys out there that will work with you as far as tuning, I reccomend Nick @ Duramaxtuner.com I have used him myself as well as lots of Duramax guys here, My buddies 07.5 LMM went 12.92 with Nick's tune. He is an awesome guy and offers some of the best customer service.

I have heard good thing about Dustin too, never used him though, you will find that there are alot of good guys in the Duramax community.

don't forget the dsp5 switch you can have with efi live. swtich between 5 custom tunes on the fly

dsp5 is not yet avaliable for the 06 - 10 modlue dmaxs but i would go efi live also. if u need any help tuning look me up
