Forgot to mention I was deleted, but even at that, a buddy of mine would see 19-20mpgs on his stock 12' dmax.

My lml gets 12 no matter what I am doing. If you want fuel economy you need to delete and tune the new stuff.

I edited my post, it was not 28mpgs, it was 25. Actually 25.4 going off the dash. How far is the dash off since you know my vehicle and how much difference there is using the dash calculations and hand calculations. FYI, my hand calculations and the dash on my vehicle were spot on.

My stock 11 LML would get between 17.7 and 18.3 unloaded, all stock if I kept the speed down. Deleted and tuned, I saw 21.3 running between Delta Junction and Fairbanks, but the speed limit is only 65 and lots of coasting down the back sides of hills. Summer months it averages between 19 and 19.3 with my commute to work and back, but don't even ask about winter mileage since you have lots of warmup idling.

When I first bought my 2007 LBZ I hand calcd 23.5 MPG on the 13 hr trip home.

That was bone stock everything, 90% highway, but had some decent hills in there too.

I've seen 20~22 at absolute best on highway unloaded out of my 07 lbz with ppe 90HP tune. 65 mph flat highway. At 75~80 mph I normally see 17.5~18 range on flat and 16~17 with mountains and wind. Truck is a ex cab 4x4 with 285 tires.

Yessir....8 lug and 3/4 ton leaf springs.,.. I even went to dealership and had them print me out a build-sheet by entering my vin number into their database.....The badges say 2500 as well but no HD......Seems weird to put 3/4 ton heavy duty suspension and axle under it and then go and put the 5.3L w/ 4L60E powerplant in it......Pointless? I have a fuel efficient 2500 that overheats the trans if i use the HD suspension as it was intended...
