You could also use the 1R-750 which is a shorter version of the 1R-0749

I bought mine from McRat racing a few years ago . Him and his wife Kat are good people and heavy dmax/ GM LSx enthusiasts .

Kennedy diesel sells the exact same pumps, but they also have a filter I believe.

The Kennedy Diesel lift pump is probably the best pump only option, not the cheapest, but probably the best. It is good for 4 psi and one pump alone can support upwards of 500+ rwhp. They are silent, centrifugal flow through design and rated for 40,000 hours life expectancy. This isn't a paid testimonial, I'm just trying to get the point across that its a good little pump and does exactly what it was meant to do.

I am using a Nicktane cat filter adapter and cat filter on mine.

You have to remember it's an LB7 and the injectors are known to have issues, I'd go with a lift pump for the simple fact of better fuel filtration. I have an AD II 165 on mine but I'm also thinking of going with the CAT adapter for the engine bay filter head, there's no such thing as too much filtration for an LB7. Injectors on these things are upwards of $4K to have replaced!

Lubricity too my man , today's diesel sucks and lacks the lubricity it used to have, that's why it's mandatory to run a good additive.

Even the additional filters won't stop the injector problems. It's like Tim said, lubricity is key to injector life.

Besides that, when it needs injectors, I get them for a pretty decent price and install them myself. So it's not too bad.
