sup guys new to the forum, i have a 2500hd diesel which is having a little trouble shifting.

anything off of wot the truck shifts perfect, but once i floor it whatever gear im in it will not up shift out of that gear... i was wondering if it was a programing issue, maybe there is an update that could fix this?

your in limp mode just not sure if your in engine limp or tranny limp

clogged fuel filter will make it go into engine limp but usually only after you go wot

I can go above 2000 rpm when the pedal is to the floor.

i just got this truck, no signs of mods, never know if it had a tune or not...

just got it scanned with a tech 2 with no codes for engine or tranny.

haven't got a chance to monitor the fault as it happening, its pretty slippery out this second. im not gonna let a friend crash my truck.
ill update any unusual values.

im not sure if this is normal or not but it did say something like "460 rpm untill next upshi" even when the truck was stopped and off. this value does change as u gain speed. might be normal, i just dont know.

again any help is appreciated.

YES, i can redline the truck, it is not an engine issue. when i floor it, it will down shift, go all the way to REDLINE and not up shift. It will continue to bounce of the rev limiter, untill i slightly lift my foot off the gas, then it will up shift and i can mat it again.
