Default 93 Turbo diesel TPS?

I have a low TPS voltage and it is causing very early shifts and won't let the truck into over drove. I checked the connection and all seems good so I am guessing it is bad. It does have some adjustment to it so I was wondering if by chance I could adjust it with spec? For that I need to now full throttle and idle voltsges.

The easier thing to do is replace it since it is probably comlewtly bad but napa is the only local parts store that lists it for $125!

Anyone know where I can buy one cheaper?

You can try adjusting it, but do it with a voltmeter hooked up, so that you know how much your advancing it.

If that doesn't work, try scouring the junkyards for other TPS's, as they are getting harder and harder to find and more expensive to buy, by the day.

Any clue if they are the same as any gas engine?
